USBA/WBA Black Belt Challenge: There will be 2 Black Belt Challenge events- Men’s Lightweight and Men’s Heavyweight. Winners receive the USBA/WBA Black Belt Challenge Belt and possible prize money (minimum number of competitors required). Materials are included in entry fee. Entry fee: $200 for USBA/WBA members, $250 for non-members (includes 1 year membership).
The Black Belt Challenge is a unique USBA/WBA competition in which competitors pick their divisions the morning of the event through a card draw. Rating info: This event is part of both the World/National Circuit and the Southeastern US Regional Circuit. Member competitors will receive points toward ratings on both circuits. Competitors are seeded per Southeastern circuit ratings first. All USBA/WBA members will receive the following points toward World/National and Southeastern US Regional ratings: 1st place- 4 points, 2nd- 3 points, 3rd- 2.5.
