The USBA/WBA Hall of Fame
The USBA/WBA Hall of Fame is a place where we recognize top competitors, influential individuals, directors, officials, and the special people that make the United States and World Breaking Association the leading breaking association in the World! The Hall of Fame Awards Banquet is held every 2 years (the Hall of Fame tournament is held every year). Honorees range from new members to veteran breakers to individuals who have helped the USBA/WBA along the way.
USBA/WBA Hall of Fame nominations are made by directors and officials. Nominees are notified before the event, but final honorees are not disclosed until the Hall of Fame Awards Banquet. Honorees receive various awards in honor of their achievement. There is no extra cost to award recipients.
Categories vary from year to year. Some of the categories from previous years include: Founders Hall Inductee, The Trower Award (in honor of the late GM Elton Trower), Competitive Breaking Visionary, Champions Circle, Rising Star, Freshman, Most Improved Breaker, Competitive Spirit, Dedication to Martial Arts Breaking, Best Break of the Year, Tournament MVP, and Next Generation of Champion Breakers.
