***ATTENTION ALL BREAKING COMPETITORS- IMPORTANT SCHEDULING UPDATES: The breaking competitions at the US Open are scheduled as follows:
USBA/WBA Breaking will be split into 2 days of competition- Friday, July 3rd, 8 am- All 17 yrs and under divisions; Saturday, July 4th, 8 am- All 18 yrs and older divisions.
ISKA World Championships will be a 2 day event. Preliminary round will be held Thursday, July 2nd. Top competitors from the preliminaries will advance to the live broadcast on Friday evening, July 3rd. Competitors who advance will be required to break again on Friday evening. Start time for each day will be announced.

Location: US Open World Martial Arts Championships- Coronado Springs Resort, 1000 W. Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL
Time: USBA/WBA- 17 yrs and under- Friday, July 3rd, 8 am; 18 yrs and older- Saturday, July 4th, 8 am
ISKA- Preliminary round- Thursday, July 2nd, time to be announced; Final round (broadcast on ESPN)- Friday, July 3rd, 6 – 9 pm. Black Belts Only. Prior approval required.

Breaking categories: USBA/WBA– First Time Breaker, Creative Wood, Creative Open, Power Wood (hand, elbow, foot), Double Power Wood (hand, elbow), Speed Board Breaking, Non-Spaced Power Wood (hand, elbow), Power Concrete (hand, elbow, foot), High Jump; all ages, ranks, and genders. ***Board sizes based on competitor age- 7 yrs. and under- 1/2″x6″x12″, 8-12 yrs- 1/2″x10″x12″, 13 and over- 1″x10″x12″. These sizes will be used for all Power and Speed divisions. They are the suggested sizes for Creative Divisions. High Jump board size is 3/8″x10″x12″ (3 boards are included with High Jump registration for that division).
USBA/WBA Creative Multi-Direction Wood Breaking Station Limit– Beginner/Intermediate and Tiny Tott Competitors- 4 Station Max., Advanced/BB Competitors- 8 Station Max.
ISKA– Creative Open, Power Concrete Upper Body, Power Wood Kick, 3 Direction Power Wood. Black Belts only. Prior approval required, DO NOT REGISTER UNTIL APPROVED. This is a 2 day event, competitors should plan on competing on both days. Email Ralph Bergamo- rbergamo@usbawba.com

Material pricing: Boards- $3.75 and $3.25, Blocks- $5, Logistics fee (all competitors)- $15. Order by June 15, 2026.
Seeding information: All USBA/WBA members are seeded based on previous year World Champions, COY status, category point leaders, and overall point status. Category winners from other approved breaking circuits will be seeded accordingly.
Rating info: All USBA/WBA members competing in USBA/WBA divisions will receive the following points toward World/National ratings: 1st place- 5 points, 2nd- 4 points, 3rd- 3. ***Note: Same day new memberships and renewals will not be seeded the day of the event. If you wish to be seeded please submit your membership no later than one week before the event.***
