USBA Breaking Categories: The USBA Divisions for this event are as follows- Power Board Breaking Hand, Power Board Breaking Elbow, Power Board Breaking Foot, Power Concrete Elbow, Power Concrete Foot, Power Concrete Horizontal Foot. All ages, ranks, male and female. ***Board sizes based on competitor age- 7 yrs. and under- 1/2″x6″x12″, 8-12 yrs- 1/2″x10″x12″, 13 and over- 1″x10″x12″. These sizes will be used for all Power divisions.***

NEW USBA CATEGORY ADDED: 65 years and older will have their own divisions!

ISKA Breaking Categories (18 and over, Black Belt only): Three Directional Wood,  Power Concrete Arm, and Horizontal Wood Foot. (Competitors at all ISKA Sanctioned Events are considered for the ISKA World Championships in Orlando, FL. No spots are guaranteed.). See official rules for more info.

ISKA Cash Prize: $500 cash prize will be awarded to the top male ISKA competitor based on points accumulated in all divisions entered. This is being offered thanks to Point Fighter Live.

Registration pricing: ISKA Divisions: $75- 1st event, $65- 2nd event, $60- 3rd event; USBA Divisions: $75 for 1st event, $20 for 2nd event, $15 each additional

Spectator pricing: $15 at the door, 12 and under $8

Material pricing: Boards- $3.50 and $2.75, Blocks- $5.25, Logistics fee (all competitors)- $15. Order by September 29th, 2025.

Rating info: All USBA/WBA members competing in USBA/WBA divisions will receive the following points toward World/National ratings: 1st place- 4 points, 2nd- 3 points, 3rd- 2.5. ***Note: Same day new memberships and renewals will not be seeded the day of the event. If you wish to be seeded please submit your membership no later than one week before the event.***

Join us as we discuss and practice a variety of situational awareness self defense scenarios. Drills, tactics, close quarters combat, and strategies to defense and counter. 4 blocks, 4 hours, 4 seasoned instructors. Train, refresh, develop, network!

Featured Instructors/Self Defense Coaches of the day:

Mel Hebert: Currently runs Street Fight Survival out of Grass Valley, CA. Mr. Mel Hebert is currently the most senior instructor teaching Mr. Rossi’s Art of Self Defense known as “Filipino Kuntao”. Mel continues to teach gun clubs, martial arts clubs, and women’s groups on how to fight back when under attack. Mr. Hebert has cross trained in a variety of other martial arts and was coached boxing at a young age by the late “Willie Pep”

Ralph Bergamo: Senior Instructor & current President of the American Filipino Kun Tao Federation. Mr. Bergamo is co-founder of USBA/WBA, Senior BB in multiple styles of martial arts and owner of Bergamo’s Fitness & Martial Arts (Cheshire, CT). Mr. Bergamo trained under GM Rossi and others.

Ray Barquin: Operating out of Reno, NV. Mr. Barquin is currently in the Military. A Trainer, Coach, Kickboxer, and Self-Defense expert who has trained under and with a variety of instructors including GM Joe Rossi and Mr. Bergamo.

Jon Gentile: Las Vegas Area Instructor/coach for the Rossi Fighting Arts Academy. He is a Retired Las Vegas Police Sgt, Detective, & Police Defensive Tactics Instructor. Mr. Gentile has trained and is an instructor in a variety of martial arts but has his beginnings being a student of GM Joe Rossi and Mike Byrnes.
