Date/Time: USBA/WBA Seminar- Friday, November 15- 5-7 pm; Tournament- Saturday, November 16- 9:30 am start time; Doors open at 8:30 am.

Grand Master Ralph Bergamo and Master Drew Serrano will be teaching techniques in American Filipino Kuntao, which consists of a vicious approach to engaging in a conflict, making it extremely realistic. You will learn to combine various open hand strikes and low line kicks with a number of vital area impact strikes, such as eye gouging and groin attacks, followed up with a variety of grabbing methods to a choice of take downs. You will also learn to defend yourself against attacks with weapons such as knives, sticks and guns. Grand Master Bergamo will share his knowledge of Corrective Exercise, including how to assess proper alignment, diagnose problems and exercises to help them. You learn from the BEST as Grand Master Ralph Bergamo and Master Drew Serrano teach you some of the most important aspects of their training and how you can apply them.

Sifu Keith Fanning emphasizes practical self defense use of Iron Palm techniques, and how to focus them in power breaking. Iron Palm systems help strengthen bone, muscle and tendons and are considered primarily internal. Martial Artists who practice Iron Palm train to relax the body and release residual tension in order to move faster. Training coordinates breathing to improve mental focus resulting in a more powerful strike. Sifu Fanning from Blue Dragon Iron Fist Kung Fu in Balbriggin, Ireland, is an expert in Iron Palm training and will teach you a few of his secrets from that have been passed down through the generations.

Breaking competition categories: First Time Breaker, Creative Wood, Creative Open, Power Concrete (Hand, Elbow, Foot), Concrete Side Kick,  Power Wood, Unspaced Power Wood, Double Power Wood Hand and Elbow; all ages, ranks, and genders.

USBA/WBA Black Belt Challenge: There will be 2 Black Belt Challenge events- Men’s Lightweight and Heavyweight. Winners receive the USBA/WBA Black Belt Challenge Belt and possible prize money (minimum number of competitors required). Materials are included in entry fee. Entry fee: $200 for USBA/WBA members, $250 for non-members (includes 1 year membership).

The Black Belt Challenge is a unique USBA/WBA competition in which competitors pick their divisions the morning of the event through a card draw. Registration Pricing: Before October 25- First Time Breakers- $50 (includes boards and community stand fee, competitors who register in First Time Breaker may not compete in other events); Other USBA/WBA divisions- $50 for 1st, $15 for 2nd, $10 each additional

Deadline for pre-registration is October 25. October 26 and after- First Time Breakers- $60; Other USBA/WBA divisions- $60 for 1st, $20 for 2nd, $10 each additional

Spectator fees: Adults and Children 13 and older- $5, 12 and under FREE.

Material pricing: Boards- $2-$2.50, Blocks- $2.75, Community Stand Fee- $8. Materials orders must be submitted by November 1, 2019.

Rating info: All USBA/WBA members will receive the following points toward World/National ratings: 1st place- 5 points, 2nd- 4 points, 3rd- 3 Points.
