Grand Champion Adult Prize Money-$500 (sponsored by Point Fighter Live): Open to all adult Black Belt competitors, 18 and over, Male and Female. Most materials broken in 4 divisions- Double Power Wood Hand, Power Wood Foot, Power Concrete Elbow, and Power Concrete Foot. All materials broken from these four divisions will be totaled to determine a winner. This division will be open to all adult Black Belts, male and female. To even the playing field between Heavyweight Male, Lightweight Male and Female competitors an “SCDA Factor” will be applied based on the SCDA (often referred to as handicapping in sports). The SCDA Factor will be a number added to the total amount of material broken. Heavyweight males receive a 0 SCDA Factor, Lightweight males receive a 6 SCDA Factor, and Women receive a 20 SCDA Factor.

As an example if a Heavyweight Male competitor breaks a total of 65 pieces of material a Lightweight Male competitor needs to break a total of 60 pieces of material to win (60 plus 6 for a total of 66), and a Female competitor needs to break 46 pieces of material to win (46 plus 20 for a total of 66).

In the event of a tie for Grand Champion, the winner will be decided by the highest percentage broken. Example: A Heavyweight Male Competitor breaks 65 pieces of material and a Female Competitor breaks 45 pieces of material. Once the SCDA Factor of 20 for the Female Competitor is applied both competitors will be tied at 65 pieces of material. If the Heavyweight Male Competitor broke 65 out of 65, that would be 100%. If the Female Competitor broke 45 out of 47, that would be 96%. The Heavyweight Male Competitor would be the winner. If the inclusion of percentage broken does not break the tie the prize money will be split among those competitors that remain tied.
